AC/DC Monitor
US PATENT NUMBER: 6856162
Quad Display Panel Meter
The AC/DC Monitor is great for use in RVs, boats, home solar/wind systems, and backup generators. Monitor your AC and DC System at a glance. One of the key benefits of the AC/DC Monitor is the ability to display four measurements simultaneously on a large display.
Measures:
- 2 Battery Voltages
- DC Current
- AC Voltage (TRUE RMS)
- AC Frequency
- AC Current (optional)
Features:
- Min / Max Alarms
- Backlighting
- Large Display
- Low Power Use
- 150 Amp Shunt Included
Displays:
- DC Voltage (2 Batteries)
- DC Current
- DC Watts
- AC Voltage
- AC Current ***
- AC Watts ***
- AC Frequency
- Time
- Room Temperature
This quad display panel meter has the ability to display four measurements simultaneously. Conveniently observe your electrical system with a display that is always on and alarms that are always monitoring. With power usage of less than 6 mA, it will not drain your batteries.
Ideal uses for the AC/DC Monitor
- When you leave your RV, the AC/DC Monitor will allow you to see if anything has been left turned on (i.e. lights) that might drain your batteries (using the DC Current sensing).
- See if the AC Voltage that you are plugged into at the RV park is within an acceptable range. Low AC voltage can cause serious damage to air conditioners.
Determine at what rate your solar panel is charging your batteries. - Set an alarm on your battery voltage so that you know when to start your generator and charge the batteries.
- Monitor the AC current usage to help prevent overloading the 30 Amp to 15 Amp adapter.
See if your generator is outputing the correct frequency and voltage. If the output frequency is too high or too low, damage can occur to your AC electronics.
